Stick Pack Machines
Multi-Lane Granule Stick Pack Machine
Plan individual stick packs for granular products. Start with particle size, flow and the amount per pack, then review feeding, dosing, film and finished-pack handling together.

From granules to individual portions
Keep the particle and the portion in view
Show the granules you intend to pack, not only the product name. The discussion should cover how they feed, whether they break or separate, and the finished portion your buyer will receive.
- Particle sizes, flow and any fine powder in the product
- Target fill weight and the amount of breakage you can accept
- Stick-pack dimensions, film and how packs leave the machine
Start with these three items
- 01Clear granule photos with a size reference, plus any handling instructions.
- 02The target amount per pack and a pack photo or dimensioned drawing.
- 03Required output, available film details and any downstream equipment.

Your granule packaging requirements
Five questions before selecting the configuration
Use a representative product to agree the feeding, portioning and seal checks. Define the required result and how it will be checked before confirming the machine setup.
- 01What are the particles like?
Provide particle sizes, shape and any fine-powder content. Explain whether the product breaks, sticks or separates during normal handling.
- 02How much should each pack contain?
State the target fill weight, allowed variation and checking method. Include all intended portion sizes and the required output.
- 03How will the granules reach the forming area?
Review supply, refill, transfer height and contact points with the actual product. Agree how to inspect breakage or separation during the trial.
- 04What film and finished pack do you need?
Share dimensions, film details, opening style and printing or coding requirements. Include seal checks and any cleaning needed between products.
- 05Where should the finished packs go?
Explain collection, inspection, reject handling and any counting or cartoning requirement. Provide details of existing equipment that needs to connect.
Choosing a setup for your granules
- What if the granules break easily?
- Describe the acceptable particle condition in the finished pack and share a representative sample. Review feeding, transfer height and contact points, then compare the material before and after a trial. Agree how the trial should record particle condition in the finished packs.
- Can the same setup run different granule sizes?
- List each product and portion size separately, including differences in flow, bulk density and fine-powder content where known. Assess dosing and change parts for each one, and agree the cleaning and changeover checks before confirming a shared setup.
